EXCLUSIVE: Police believe Esther Dingley died instantly after plunging 100ft to her death after losing her footing on a rocky ledge near a summit straddling the French-Spanish border.
Esther s boyfriend Dan Colegate found the body 437 yards from the remote peak of Pic de la Glere which straddles the French-Spanish border in the Pyrenees. Skull was found 656 yards away.
French detectives were led to the site by Esther s boyfriend Dan Colegate on Monday as investigators probe how the experienced hiker died in the Pyrenees after disappearing in November.
