The owner of the newly renovated, historic Columbus Building in Ouray has purchased another historic building in town without the accompanying headache. Stuart Gillespie spent years getting approvals from the city and securing a grant for a portion of the Columbus Building renovations before opening The Imogene Hotel and Rooftop Bar there, but his $2.6 million acquisition of Hotel Ouray has been as peaceful as guests rate their stays at the 14-room boutique hotel.
