Lagos to immortalise Ndubuisi Kanu, sets up four-man burial committee

Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday said the state government would immortalise a former military governor of the state, the late Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu (retd.).
Sanwo-Olu also said the state government would participate fully in all the programmes leading to the burial of the elder statesman.
The late Kanu, who was a leader of the National Democratic Coalition died at the age of 77 on Wednesday.
The governor said a four-man committee, led by the Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Mr Gbenga Omotoso, had been set up to work with the family of the deceased and other stakeholders to honour and give the late military leader a befitting burial. ....
