mike pompeo says she s not even an american citizen, saying there is no you would valid us passport, the right to a passport or any visa to travel to the united states. her attorney denies that claim saying she is a citizen she was born in new jersey after her father finished his job as a diplomat which would have barred her citizenship. jillian: florida lawmakers considering a ban on sanctuary cities, the bill has moved through the first committee. it will require all local law enforcement agencies to cooperate with federal agencies if they arrest someone with an immigration list. ron desantis vowed to put a end to sanctuary cities. rob: the bob mueller investigation appears to be coming to a close after nearly two years at this point. also a new confession from the
latino population, which is the other factor in florida and those have sort of disproportionately and the purging of those lists, gone after people with al latino sounding last name. florida has had voter i.d. a little longer, so it s been in place. i don t think that s going to be a factor in this state. the things that were going to matter, shorting the early vote period. but the purge list really was targeted at the latino population. what the florida governor and republican base ledge islator wanted to do was use this immigration list to compare last names. if they matched at all. to be able to challenge those voters. this is about the declining share of the hispanic population. cuban americans are the one group that is majority republican. but florida is becoming a less
now. many of them undocumented maybe go there to retire. younger people go beach resorts. laura: they are deportable aliens. they are retiring. laura: let s move on to the issue of fingerprinting because i know you have a problem with that as well. actually, the obama administration is moving forward with a program that will allow and require, indeed, police to cross-reference homeland security lists to make sure that people, that they pull over, who are pulled over for some lawful reason can be scanned, fingerprints, then cross referenced with an immigration list. why are you against that? well, what we re against, most of the people once again are against if they re a criminal and put in jail, that s a different situation, they should be fingerprinted but not just to be pulling over people. profiling people and fingerprinting them because they are in the car. that is wrong. with racial profiling. that s why people across the country of color are against
