Freeport Noon Kiwanis to meet March 9 Journal Standard FREEPORT The Freeport Noon Kiwanis Club will meet virtually at noon March 9 via Zoom. The guest speaker will be Barb Curry, a community worker with the Illinois Nutrition Education Programs. INEP is a part of the University of Illinois Extension and offers programming opportunities throughout Illinois. Curry partners with a diverse group of community organizations in Stephenson County to help limited income households focus on healthful diets and physical activity. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education program will be featured. The Freeport Noon Kiwanis Club is a service club established in 1919 dedicated to serving children and the needs of the Freeport community. The club meets weekly at noon Tuesdays. ....
