The technical crew of men’s national basketball team, D’Tigers, has invited 12 players for the team’s FIBA Afrobasket qualifiers between February 17 and 21 in Tunisia.
The list was announced by the Nigeria Basketball Federation on
Twitter on Monday.
Top on the list of invited players are captain Ike Diogu, Spain-based shooting guard, Obinna Emegano, Ben Uzoh and Ike Iroegbu.
Others are Turkey-based power forward, Abdul-Malik Abu, Michael Oguine, Michael Gbinije, Ike Nwamu and Caleb Agada.
The trio Ifeoluwa Ajayi, Said Hearst-Okpalannaka and Nwachukwu Moneke complete the numbers and are also expected to make their international debut for Nigeria.
