The first Ibero-American Political-Academic Dialogue is a gathering focused on food security, gender and climate which will take place in Antigua, Guatemala on 24-26 April 2024. The event, organized by the Parliamentary Front Against Hunger with support from FAO, Spanish Cooperation, AMEXCID, FIAPP and the SUN Movement, will bring together authorities from FAO and AECID, SEGIB, Spanish Cooperation, legislators, advisors, media, representatives of ODAALC and ODA-E, among others. The meeting aims to strengthen political commitment and dialogue in the Ibero-American and Caribbean area on food, which is essential for the formulation of concrete and effective state policies to combat hunger and malnutrition throughout the region.
