New Iberia teen attacked in high school bathroom

The superintendent of Iberia Parish schools confirmed Monday there is an ongoing investigation into an incident that occurred in a school bathroom and left a student with a broken jaw.
The New Iberia teenager s jaw was broken when he was attacked in the bathroom at Westgate High School recently, his mother told KLFY.
She said a group of students attacked her son, 17-year-old Mauricio Brown, in the bathroom at Westgate High School, which left him with a severe concussion and the need to wire his jaw shut.
The assault was caught on video on a cell phone of one of the students said to be behind the attack and shows him left unconscious on the bathroom floor at the end, according to KLFY. ....
