View Comments Army paratrooper Ian Morosoff, of Suquamish, died from injuries he suffered in a vehicle crash on Saturday in Vicenza, Italy. Morosoff, 19, had graduated from Bainbridge High School in the class of 2020, according to a spokeswoman for the Bainbridge Island School District, and had also joined the Army last year, according to a press release from the 173rd Airborne Brigade. Morosoff had achieved the rank of private first class. The crash occurred Saturday in Vicenza, in northern Italy, near Caserma Ederle, a military installation where Morosoff was stationed, a spokesman for the 173rd Airborne Bridgade said in an email to the Kitsap Sun.
