table for ian isherwood, who is going to moderate this panel, and introduce him very briefly. ian is a historian of war. his research interests are in british history and war studies, where he does yeoman duty at gettysburg college. he holds a master s degree from dartmouth college. ian is currently an assistant professor in the department of interdepartmental studies at gettysburg college. he s the author of remembering the great war writing the experiences of world war i, as well as scholarly articles on veterans and war writing. he s currently working on a book on the life and death of an infantry battalion in world war i. ian is going to be our moderator now and will take this slot. ian?
