ਦੇਸ਼ ਵੰਡ ਵੇਲੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਢ-ਟੁੱਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਪਰੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਇਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ ਲੋਚਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਘਾਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਜਬੂਰੀਵੱਸ ਚਾਹੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਮਸਾਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਜਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਨਾ ਰੋਕ ਸਕੇ, ਪਰ ਊਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਮੋਹ ਕਦੇ ਘਟਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਉਹਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਵਲੀ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਣਜਾਣਪੁਣੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਲੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ। ਜੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਵੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਵਲੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਦੁਆਬੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਬਲੀ ਹੀ ਕਹ� ....
