TMS Cardiff Gas takes delivery of Shell-chartered newbuild Greece-based shipping company TMS Cardiff Gas has taken delivery of its latest newbuild, the LNGShips Manhattan. The vessel completed its sea trials at the start of May. The vessel owned by LNGShips will join LNGShips Athena and LNGShips Empress, which have been previously delivered into a charter deal with Shell. Like its two sister ships, LNGShips Manhattan is capable of transporting 174,000 cubic meters of the chilled fuel and features GTT’s Mark IIi Flex containment system. ....
(PH Navy / MANILA BULLETIN) Lieutenant Commander Maria Christina Roxas, director of the naval public affairs office, said the BRP Antonio Luna departed the shipyard of Korean shipmaker Hyundai Heavy Industries and set sail in Ulsan, South Korea on Monday for a week-long Sea Acceptance Trial (SAT). “[The] focus of this week’s SAT will be on the various weapons and sensors with the objective of showcasing the full combat capability of FF-151,” said Captain Sergio Bartolome, PN frigate owner representative. The Technical Inspection and Acceptance Committee (TIAC) for the acquisition of BRP Antonio Luna joined the SAT “to check the vessel’s performance against the agreed technical specification and warfare capabilities.” ....
