Netherlands names new hydrographic survey boat - Naval Warfare

Hydrograaf is designed to replace smaller craft in Royal Netherlands Navy service.
The Royal Netherlands Navy (RNLN) christened its new prototype Expeditionary Survey Boat (ESB) on 26 February in a virtual ceremony in Den Helder.
Built by Damen,
Hydrograaf is 15.7m long, 4.18m in height and weighs 24t. This tonnage allows the boat to be transported aboard RNLN logistics support vessels such as Johan de Witt and Rotterdam, the Dutch MoD noted in a statement.
The ESB is designed to replace smaller 10m vessels currently being used by the RNLN for hydrographic surveys. It can reach speeds in excess of 20kt, said Peter van den Berg, deputy director of Damen Shipyards Den Helder. ....

Prevention is the responsibility of the federal maritime and hydrographic agency we asked for an interview on the issue of corroding sea dumped munitions witten down. said previously we are not the agency we are responsible soley for locating munitions. does b.s. are the federal maritime and hydrographic agency is still refusing to acknowledge the presence of ordinance there despite itself gathering high resolution bathymetric data but they say the data show no cause for alarm so i wonder either they re too stupid to know our drug reform works or they don t want to see the danger. they have working systems i d have to see it but refused to acknowledge it . a systematic clearing of the seabed only happens when economic interests take pre-sentence such as the construction of an offshore wind ....
