John Sevier Chapter SAR To Reflag Patriot s Gravesite Monday

The John Sevier Chapter of the Sons of the American Resolution will conduct a short ceremony to post a new flag at the gravesite of Revolutionary War patriot Benjamin Jones Monday at 2 p.m. at the Hutcheson Cemetery in Sale Creek. 
The patriot grave reflagging ceremony is part of the Sons of the American Revolution 250th Anniversary series of celebrations honoring the events and patriots of the Revolution.  The focus of this ceremony is to honor patriot Benjamin Jones service and participation in the Battle of Monmouth on the 243rd Anniversary of Battle in 1778. ....
