DRINK and DRUG drivers have been caught by police on our roads. HERE is a round-up of those who have been named in Sussex magistrates’ courts. JUSTYNA WICHERT Aged 29, of Fish Lane, Bognor, admitted drink-driving in a Ford Focus in Shripney Road. Tested for 63 microgrammes (mcg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres (ml) of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath. Fined £323, surcharge £34, costs £85. 17-month ban. Brandon Miah was “incensed” by the alleged “disparaging” comments made by his cousin in St Leonards. He wanted to find his cousin and went to his grandmother’s home. When he arrived the 23-year-old was told to calm down by his uncle Christopher Peters and his gran Rosemary Locking. Miah pummelled Mr Peters, 52, leaving is uncle in hospital for a month with broken ribs and a broken cheek. Mr Peters suffered complications that left him on a ventilator after the attack in July this year. At Lewes Crown Court, father-of-two Miah admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm and was jailed for two years and two months by Judge Janet Waddicor. ....
