Nestled between Salon PiZazz! and the Black River in downtown Port Huron lies an unassuming space that has been providing an empowering service for people working on recovery.
However, the future of Dry Dock Recovery Reading Room is now uncertain as they have to move out of their location.
One of the brothers responsible for opening the space to help people recovering from alcoholism and drug addiction, Linn Bartlett, said there are three choices.
One, he and his brothers can relocate the resource. Two, they can sell it. Or three, they can call it quits.
“We’re not sure what direction we’re going yet,” he said.
