CANANDAIGUA — Ward 4 City Councilor Dan Unrath did not seek reelection this year and was scheduled to leave the board Dec. 31 after four years of service.
Last month, the Baker administration announced its intention to redevelop the site of the Charles F. Hurley Building, a brutalist landmark near Government Center. Preservationists hope that changing attitudes toward the architectural style could preserve the building.
