Flemington teams with global design firm for $100K project to reinvigorate downtown Updated Dec 16, 2020; Facebook Share Flemington has hired an international global design firm to re-envision and revitalize its downtown environment. This project is funded by the $100,000 Opportunity Zone grant awarded by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority in November of 2019, which the Flemington Opportunity Zone Partnership applied for earlier last year. Flemington is designated as an opportunity zone, established under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 to encourage long-term investment seven years at minimum in low-income and rural communities by providing federal tax incentives to investors.
