Organizers of the Jackson County Fair said that it saw major attendance, record sales, and amazing participation at the first event since 2018.

CENTRAL POINT, Ore. After going through the receipts, organizers of the 2021 Jackson County Fair say that it saw major attendance, record sales, and outstanding participation.
“What an ENORMOUS response from Southern Oregonians this year at the annual county fair,” said Expo director Helen Funk.
According to Funk, the fair saw almost 70,000 visitors enter through the gates over the five days it was open, topping previous years. Vendors saw record sales almost every day, and the carnival had its best fair in the history of Paul Maurer Shows. ....

The Australian Olympic Committee has appointed martech company Komo to create a digital fan engagement hub.
The announcement:
The Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) has appointed MarTech scale-up Komo Digital Engagement as its official fan engagement platform supplier for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing.
The partnership will see Komo deliver a state-of-the-art fan hub to support the Australian Olympic Committee’s first-ever digital fan engagement strategy for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
The custom digital hub created by Komo will leverage gamification tactics such as polls, quizzes, live trivia, predictive games, and more to deliver a one-of-a-kind COVID-proof digital experience for fans who won’t be able to attend the Games in Tokyo.
