Hungarian teachers' organizations in the Carpathian Basin find it unacceptable that Ukraine makes it impossible to use their mother tongue in education.
At least 10,000 Hungarian students, teachers and parents blocked a Budapest bridge before filling a main square outside parliament on Wednesday in support of teachers fighting for higher wages and teachers sacked for protesting.
State Secretary for National Policy spoke about the preservation of the mother tongue and identity, and the support provided by the Hungarian government.
