The Friends of Hungary Conference is an important event for the Friends of Hungary Foundation, publisher of
Hungary Today and
Ungarn Heute, since it brings together hundreds of members who actively strive towards improving Hungary’s diaspora communities. It is also the event where the Friend of Hungary Award is given to select individuals or organizations.
From Australia to America, there is only one Hungarian bookstore left: the Canadian „Pannonia”. Friends of Hungary Foundation Members Receive Order of Merit Awards
The Hungarian government has announced this year’s recipients for the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary. This year many members of the Friends of Hungary Foundation (MOBA), publisher of
Hungary Today, received the various prestigious crosses thanks to their extensive work in the Hungarian community, both at home and abroad.
Three types of order of merit crosses have been awarded: The Commander’s Cross, the Officer’s Cross, and the Knight’s Cross.
Additionally, two types of crosses of merit have been awarded: Silver and Gold.
