Two arrests were made shortly after the remains were found in June 3rd behind an abandoned mobile home on Quarry Road in Coburg.
At that time, Mounties said enough evidence had been gathered to charge 37-year-old Henry Alexander Joseph Pottie and 28-year-old Sean Patrick Patterson with first-degree murder.
The two men have remained in custody and are scheduled to face a preliminary inquiry in mid-January.
Jamie Leard of Upper Cape was reported missing to police on May 25th and his vehicle was found abandoned in Springhill, Nova Scotia later the same day.
