Steve definitely a cold weekend. Temperatures right now will pretty much be the high today. If you want to talk about the numbers out there now, generally in the 30s, albeit lower 30s, not bad. But when you factor it in, we wont see the temperature budge any today. Not much of a wind chill. Feels like 26 currently at rdu, 22 in san ford and roxboro, that wind chill will be noted as we go throughout the day today. A woman is recovering after she was shot outside Northgate Mall in durham. Police say activity in the mall spilled into the parking lot around 7 00 last night. The woman was shot in the arm. She was taken to the hospital for injuries that are nons lifethreatening. She is expected to recover. Officers are not sure if they are looking for more than one suspect. They say a dark colored car may have been involved. The remains of a 13year old girl found in North Carolina now are being sent back to virginia for an autopsy. They remember saying nicole wednesday morning. Police found her remains yeste ....

Flames were shooting out of the windows when firefighters arrived. The home has 6 apartment units. Residents got out safely. We are gathering more information. Fire tears through a home in north raleigh, it happened before 1 in the morning a at house on winget drive. Firefighters tell us the home was vacant. They say the house is a total loss. Decision, the southern part of 540 could have taken combination of the routes including this red one through the heart of garner. Today the dot ruled out the red, and instead decided this is how they want to finish 540. New at 6 00, bryan mims joins us with the next step in the process. The dot says this is only a recommendations this announcement today, regulators are reviewing Environmental Impact studies, and they need to sign off on the route. At 28 miles and 2 billion, transportation Officials Say this route makes the most sense.
