Gilles Barrieau was in the bike in the $3,000 feature as Day Delight guarded the rail from the beginning, going to the lead and tripping the first quarter in :28.1. Barrieau continued his forward motion to the half-mile marker in :57.1, then hit three-quarters in 1:26.2.
