Chris Parker is bringing his new show, How I Felt, to Christchurch.
Christchurch comedian and actor Chris Parker turned to craft hobby felting when the Covid-19 lockdown struck last year, but little did he know his pandemic activity would lead to online fame. Parker has turned his surreal craft journey into a new stand-up show, called
How I Felt, which he is bringing to his hometown next week. While performing an hour of comedy, Parker will also create a new felt creation for his audience. Parker turned to needle felting on a whim when the lockdown began and his career was put on hold. The craft involves using a barbed needle to tease felt into different shapes.
