Edith Lambert
Edith G. Lambert, 100, of Brainerd, passed away at Good Samaritan Village – Woodland on Sunday, June 27, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Nelson – Doran Funeral Home and again one hour prior to Mass at the Church on Tuesday. A luncheon will immediately follow Mass. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.
Edith was born February 6, 1921, in Hiles, Wisconsin, the daughter of Gustav and Katherina (Bremer) Polzin. Edith graduated from Rhinelander High School. And although she had dreams of joining her friends at jobs in the city, she stayed home to care for her dad. Her mother died when Edith was just 19. In 1943, Edith married the love of her life, Howard R. Lambert. The couple was devoted to one another from the start. Their life was full of good times but also on
