Tell Tales 2-18-21 It was February of 1983, 38 years ago this week. My sister-in-law, Sandy, and I were working in a back office upstairs at 108 W. Perry Street, where the Clinton House Restaurant is now. We were putting the finishing touches on Vol. 1, No. 1 of The Beacon. We were highlighting the new officers of the Ottawa County Heart Association, Gary Kohli and Kathy Steinmiller, along with a photo of Bill Friemark passing the gavel as president of the Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce to Howard Guenther.
