in a defamation suit brought by two georgia election workers. political advisers saying giuliani was wrongly accused in the matter. up next, though, a civil trial that could see trump s former personal attorney held financially liable. joining me now from fulton county is blayne alexander. what more can you tell us about the upcoming arraignments and what this separate motion means for the trial as trump s attorneys, they re seeking to completely sever his case from the other codefendants. well, alex, let s start with the arraignments. we know that september 6th, next wednesday at 9:30 a.m., the former president will not be appearing before a fulton county judge. he s waived that arraignment appearance as is his right, and he s entered a not guilty plea, so that certainly answers a lot of questions we had as to whether or not we would see the same kind of extraordinary show of him coming down to georgia, going instead inside a courthouse, and facing a judge we will not see.
