From the house reconvening for the latest, let s turn now to nbc news, capitol hill correspondent, ryan nobles. ryan, we know the house is set to resume the vote. had there been any developments in the last hour or so and that may indicate where we are headed this evening? reporter: yeah, quite a bit, actually, alex. the republicans have sent out a wig notice, informing their colleagues what they expect to take place today. and i have added things to that would list that we haven t seen throughout this process, including what they hope will be a vote on the rules package shortly after the vote on the speakership. now, if this were a traditional opening week of congress, the first thing they do is vote for the speaker. that would take about half hour. then they would spare everybody in, and then they ll start the business of government governing. the first thing they ll do is pass a rules package. so all that stuff that would have traditionally taken place on tuesday afternoon is now ....
