Saturday, July 3, 2021 - 4:36 pm HANNAWA FALLS - The Riverside Cemetery of Hannawa Falls will hold its annual meeting on Friday, July 9, at 7 p.m. at the Hannawa Falls Firemen s Doghouse at the Hounds Haven Field. Lot owners, those having family members buried there, and interested community members are invited to come and participate. With our newfound freedom from Covid-19, there is much to be accomplished. Election of officers and trustees will be conducted. Updating, repairs to old gravestones and future plans for the cemetery will be on the agenda as well.
Feb 15, 2021 Irene Clark, 102, of Steubenville, OH, formerly of Plum Run, OH, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, in the Carriage Inn of Steubenville. Irene was born Dec. 3, 1918, in Salt Run, OH, daughter of the late Harry Tilton and Virginia (Connell) Noble. Irene was a member of the Brilliant Christian Church and a former Sunday School teacher in Plum Run. She was a homemaker and cleaned homes for people. In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight, in 1988; four sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her son, Russell (Mary Ann) Clark of Rayland, OH; her daughter, Roxann (Vernon) Welshans of San Antonio, TX; eight grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren, who will miss her dearly and her wonderful neighbors. ....
