Group A is made up of hosts, Cameroon, 2014 semi-finalists Zimbabwe, 2016 finalist Mali and Burkina Faso. At the moment, all the teams in the group are already in the country. The teams are based in Yaounde. The Intermediate Lions of Cameroon left their long time base in Mbankomo on Monday January 11, 2021 and have now taken up residence at the Mont Febe Hotel. Focus is on the opening game against the Warriors of Zimbabwe tomorrow, January 16, 2021. For the past four days, the Lions have been training at the Annex Stadium of the Olembe Sports Complex.
