Authorities in phoenix late today revealing what they call an intentional and violent attack on three of their officers. You will see the car coming in from the right here, speeding toward the officers who were standing by their cruiser. Smashing right into them. One of the officers sent right into the air. All three officers were hurt, two of them seriously. The car and takes aim at one of the officers. Tonight, authorities now questioning the motive, and abcs clayton sandell, leading us off. Details on exactly what prompted the domestic disturbance call. Police say a 25yearold woman was in the apartment with bivins. Police believe bivins stabbed her multiple times. She underwent surgery and is expected to live. One resident of a neighboring apartment heard the story later from the womans mother. The father of her children, they were having problems she said that he was going to harm her and i sat out with the mom because the police wouldnt let her go and see her. Other neighbos stayed at this apartment with the woman in the past, but wasnt currently living here. A nextdoor neighbor who knew both said bivins was a frequent visitor and would watch the children the couple shared. And while he said the two argued, he said he never saw any physical violence.
