Some say that there’s nothing worse than being alone for the Holidays. But for one Ohio boy, there is something worse: being abandoned by his parents, along with his pet dog, in a cemetery just two days before Christmas.
However, after the 3-year-old boy was rescued, the local community rallied to bring him the best Christmas possible by flooding his new foster home with presents.

An Ohio police chief says a young boy who was found in a cemetery two days before Christmas has been reunited with his father and dog. Police were called shortly after noon on Dec. 23 to Hope Memorial Gardens Cemetery where a witness reported seeing a car speeding away and a little boy “running after the car followed by a dog. Police said the boy told authorities his name was Tony and also told them his parents first names.When Police Chief David Centner invited members of the community to drop off gifts and on Christmas Eve posted a follow-up message thanking everyone “for your kindness, thoughts, prayers and overwhelming love.”“Our lobby is full from the gifts that have been ....

HINCKLEY, Ohio (AP) An Ohio police chief says a young boy found in a cemetery two days before Christmas has been placed in the care of his father and reunited with his dog.
Chief David Centner of the Hinckley police department said in a Facebook post last week that Tony’s father had expressed his appreciation for the public’s generosity and said the child is “doing very well.” Centner stressed that the father was “in no way involved” with the incident and has been “extremely cooperative” with officials. ....

HINCKLEY, Ohio (WOIO) - A little boy is back in his father’s care after he and a dog were abandoned at Hope Memorial Gardens Cemetery just two days before Christmas.
Hinckley police identified the boy as Tony, who is approximately 3 years old.
The boy’s father was not involved in the abandonment and has been cooperate with police and Children Services, according to a Hinckley Police Department Facebook post. ....
