ARUNDEL – Keith Allen Mills, 50, of Arundel, passed away on Sunday April 25, 2021, in Kennebunkport.
Keith was born April 10, 1971, in Biddeford to Mr. Jon A. Mills and Mrs. Sharon Langlois Mills.
He attended Biddeford High School, graduating in 1989. He then attended, Southern Maine Vocational Technical College, earning an associate degree in Criminal Justice. He furthered his education at the University of Southern Maine where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 1992.
Keith started his law enforcement career as a Corrections Officer with the York County Sheriff’s department at the age of 18 and as a Reserve Officer with the Ogunquit Police Department. He then joined the Kennebunkport Police Department as Patrolman, attaining the rank of Sergeant before his retirement there a

BIDDEFORD – Betty J. Staly, 89, formerly of Rochester and Macedon, N.Y. and Hereford, Ariz., peacefully passed away Jan. 12, 2021 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, surrounded by her family.
Betty was born in Rochester, N.Y. on March 8, 1931, the youngest of five children born to Edward and Mildred Schmaltz. She attended parochial schools in the St. Monica’s diocese.
She loved going to the movies with her siblings and skating at the ice rink and swimming at the pool with her friends at Genesee Valley Park. It was at the ice rink that she met her future husband of 71 years, Jack Staly.

SACO Dolores M. Lajoie, 83, of Biddeford, Maine, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Dolores was born on June 25, 1937, daughter of the late Oscar and Marie Bernier.
Dolores, known by everyone as Dolly, graduated from St. Andre’s High School and soon after met her husband, Wilfred. R. Lajoie. They were happily married on July 28, 1956, and spent almost 53 wonderful years together until Willie passed peacefully in 2009. She has missed him dearly since that day and the whole family is comforted to know they’re finally reunited.
Dolly was a loved one, a friend, an artist, a volunteer, and ray of light, among many other special qualities. She loved oil painting and created many beautiful beaches and seascapes, one of her favorite places in the world. Dolly loved sewing, too. Everyone who knew her would tell you she’d drop anything to hem your pair of pants or fix a zipper. She was kind a
