Progress. simply getting activity towards a spinal injury at any level does make a big difference. is this guy doing anything different from traditional methods of treating these injuries? i don t think so. certainly, you need to recognize the efforts of the physical therapy and rehab community. they have very specific exercises they do. as you pointed out, this person is not train aid loed along the lines. i haven t seen exactly all the exercises he does, i know it s intensive and expensive. someone what has a chance of getting muscle function back anyway because of the natural state of injury, this could offer a little bit of help. does it offer or suggest false hope to some people? i think it depends how it s pitched. this idea someone who has a complete spinal cord injury, as a result of doing this type of therapy is going to walk again, ....

That could be false hope. i always hope is hope. false hope potentially could be a dangerous thing. i think this idea that people who have an incomplete spinal cord injury simply aren t being given adequate rehab, aren t being given adequate therapy and therefore people sort of give up on them. things like this can help. it would be better if it were in a more controlled setting, people trained in this area to give someone the maximum benefit, speediest recovery possible would be ideal. simply intensive therapy, getting people up and moving overall is not a bad thing. sanjay, thank you. still ahead, our nearly year long investigation, how a quiet studious middle class kid born in the suburbs became a dangerous enemy of the state. and an embarrassing spelling malfunction on the hollywood walk of fame. i ll talk to julia ....
