Hopscotch, the immersive gallery that opened downtown in September, is adding another interactive element: food. Part restaurant incubator, part charity project, the aptly named Hop-Up, will offer visitors a rotating series of culinary concepts on the gallery s open-air patio. Hopscotch co-founders Nicole Jensen and Hunter Inman hope to host everything from up-and-coming food trucks to established brands looking to try something new. Each concept is invited for a two-month run at the Navarro Street gallery, and may operate out of a food truck or trailer or a tent. Restaurants must be open during Hopscotch s normal business hours and special events, but may also operate on days when the gallery is closed, notes a release. ....
