Just 70 miles northeast of one of the major hip-hop capitals of the world lies the Classic City, a town known for its own diverse music scene. Live Wire Athens, a hotspot among local hip-hop enthusiasts, will host a series of performances next month as ATHfactor-Liberty Entertainment holds its hip-hop residency. Cassie Chantel and other artists of Tribe House Records will perform at the first night of “Hip-Hop Pit Stop,” a weekly music showcase each Wednesday in June. The month-long event will be hosted by Minneapolis native Montu Miller, CEO of ATHfactor-Liberty Entertainment. “ALE looks forward to expanding its relationship with Live Wire Athens to make June 2021 something special as Athens music venues open their doors back up,” Miller said in a news release. ....
