Lone Pine Fire moves into Hoopa Reservation

A 352 plus acre wildfire in the Six Rivers National Forest burned into the Hoopa Reservation. Residents around Willow Creek on Facebook reported hot ash falling from the sky and posted videos of clouds of orange smoke billowing over ridges. Much of Humboldt County woke to smoke from a number of wildfires, many caused by a dry lightning storm. ....
