January, 6 th 2021, marked 17 years since the passing of Dominica’s sixth Prime Minister, Honourable Pierre Charles. Pierre Charles was the Prime Minister of Dominica from 2000 to 2004 and Member of Parliament for the Grand Bay Constituency from March 1985 to January 6 2004. Member of Parliament for the Grand Bay Constituency, Honourable Edward Registe, remembers the late Pierre Charles as a community oriented person. “For the years that he spent in Grand Bay, I think that he was one of the politicians that was able to unite the constituency very well and many people will remember him for a long time for who he was beyond just being a politician. He was a teacher, he was a farmer, he was a social worker, and he was a business man in the community. Pierre Charles embodied what Grand Bay always wante ....
