In a move to keep the ship floating, Honor brand parted ways with the parent company to establish an independent identity and keep the show going on. It seems the move is paying off as the major chipset players including Qualcomm and Intel are now ready to partner with Honor for the new line of smartphones.

Honor is expected to launch its new flagship V40 phones on January 22 and ahead of its launch, new details about the V40 have emerged online revealing key details about the phone. This is because the latest leak about the phone has revealed the pricing of the device with Honor s new phone said to start a price of CNY 3,999 for its entry variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. This information was revealed through a leaked phone vendor inventory listing.
Since spinning off from Huawei, Honor is now able to implement Google Mobile Services on its phones, and it could be happening very soon with the launch of the Honor V40 later this week.

Honor will be launching Honor V40 5G smartphone in China on January 18. Now ahead of the launch, the camera details for the upcoming flagship has been confirmed.
An official poster confirmed that the Honor V40 5G will be equipped with a quad-camera setup. It will be featuring a 50-megapixel camera, 8-megapixel ultrawide, 2-megapixel laser focus sensor, and 2-megapixel macro sensor. The poster also confirms that the Honor V40’s display produces 1.07 billion colours.
