The closing will affect 700 students, the district says the schools were chosen given enrollment trends, cost to operate and maintain and neighboring schools that can take students in. Other alternatives could have been cutting class sizes, layoffs across the district. Spokeswoman says the closures will impact the least number of students overall. The district saving 450,000 a year. Thats the cost to operate a school as it faces a 12 million shortfall. The decision to close schools is not an easy one. With a dog that was alive kind of Walking Around the area. The dog has now been taken away by marin county animal services. Again, the Sheriffs Department still investigating not telling us exactly what transpired. Theyre going to be looking into the cause of death and how these people came to be at this home in this quiet community. We did speak to a neighbor a start time ago who told us what she could about this house. Upon arrival by the fire personnel and also deputies, we located a male and female deceased. Its a little frightening seeing as i live right around aroundthe corner and ive never felt threatened in this neighborhoods.
