    Fontaine Fowler Cope, 82, of Lamesa passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in Lamesa. 
    She was born March 9, 1938 in Ozona, Texas to Sam Austin and Margaret (Drake)Fowler. She married Nolen Harris Cope June 7, 1958 in Floydada. They were married 60 years. 
    Fontaine acquired the love of becoming a Gemologist in 1982, she also loved being a part of the Community Theatre, Garden Club, 48 Delphians and was a board member and president of the Jockey Club in Ruidoso, NM. She also enjoyed playing Bridge with her friends, attending Cornerstone Fellowship and was involved in the R.B. Theme Tape Ministries. She loved her family and friends, who will miss her dearly. ....

William “Bill” Fred Howell, 93, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021, at Wildflower Lodge, La Grande. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at the Summerville Cemetery. The service is open to the public and will honor both Bill and Florence. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Casual and warm attire is encouraged. The graveside service will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend. GLASTONBURY – Joan Marie (Weik) Cunningham, born on Aug. 25, 1932, passed away at her home on Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, after a short illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard L. Cunningham.
Joan, a 57-year resident of Cheshire, was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was unwavering with her love and attention to her family, loved her crafts, baking and writing poems for special people and events in her life. Joan adored her devoted cat “Sugar,” named after her love of everything sweet.
Born in Torrington to parents Jacob and Grace (Raymond) Weik, she graduated from James Morris High School, class of 1950, where she was an avid basketball player. After graduating high school Joan pursued a career in banking. While attending a wedding she met the love of her life “Lenny,” they married shortly after in 1956 and enjoyed 56 years of marriage before his passing in 2012. ....
