Warrington healthcare assistant organises fundraiser to help her own dementia patients

Jade Hinningan has been working on the inpatient assessment ward at Hollins Park throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. With so many people raising money for charities and staff working directly with coronavirus patients, Jade wanted to do something to help the people she was seeing and spending time with every day. Jade, who is holding an Easter raffle in aid of Dementia Friends and Alzheimer’s Society, said: “Due to the pandemic, both charities haven’t been able to raise money during lockdown so I decided to see what I could do to help. “I travelled all over Warrington visiting different supermarkets and I was overwhelmed with the generosity of some of the staff.
