Share: Santa Maria s Lights, Sights, and Holiday Nights Decorating Contest announces winners The city of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department has announced the winners of its annual Lights, Sights, and Holiday Nights Decorating Contest. A map of the city that highlights the winning residences is now available online for the community to view or print at cityofsantamaria.org.  The department announced the following winners in their respective categories: Elizabeth Houser (622 E. Fesler) for Best Decorated Rookie Residence (for first-time entries); The Price family (526 Boscoe Court) for Country Christmas (for Western or ranch-themed decorations); Alex and Gloria Nanalis (314 W. Harding) for Homespun Holiday (“holidays at home”-themed decorations); and Christian Cortez (436 Roble) for California Dreamin’ (best light display, motion lights, music, and/or animatronics).

City of Santa Maria announcing winners of 24th annual decorating contest KSBY and last updated 2020-12-14 14:08:49-05 The City of Santa Maria will be announcing the winners of the 24th annual Lights, Sights and Holiday Nights Decorating Contest at its city council meeting Tuesday. Officials say there were more community entries than any year before. Staff with the Recreation and Parks Commission served as contest judges, saying it was an extremely difficult with so many incredible entries. The 2020 winners will be officially announced Tuesday at 5:30 in the City Hall Council Chambers. A live broadcast will be available to watch on its Youtube page.
