The 51 crosstown a family enjoying tonight getting ice cream, walking across the street. A 73yearold man is dead. His 41yearold daughter is at university hospital. The scene begins with that metro bus making a lefthand turn from erie onto edwards. The metro was making the turn around 8 00 p. M. When the bus struck a father and daughter leaving greaters on the corner of edwards and erie. Witnesses say the pair were walking in the southbound crosswalk when hit by the bus ending up here in the , intersection. The father was pronounced dead here on the scene.
