PHILIPPINE TARSIER. One of the two rescued tarsiers crawls on a tree trunk after personnel of the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO)-Liloy released them back to their natural habitat Wednesday (March 2, 2022) in Barangay Delucot, Godod, Zamboanga del Norte. "We're talking of Eastern Visayas and Mindanao, even Central Visayas and northern Mindanao, are having an improved weather," Benison Estareja, weather specialist of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in a briefing. Estareja said PAGASA is now monitoring most of Palawan, which is experiencing heavy rains due to Odette. Also affected are Western Visayas and the rest of southern Luzon, he added. In a bulletin posted at 3 p.m., the weather bureau said Odette now packs maximum sustained winds of 195 km. per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 240 kph. Heavy to torrential rains over will continue over Caraga, Central Visayas, Misamis Oriental, Camiguin, Southern Leyte, and Negros Occidental.
