TAWAU: A 49-year-old Filipino labourer, who slit his friend’s neck with a machete over a RM300 debt dispute three years ago, was sentenced to death by the High Court, here, Wednesday for the murder. Robin Radjani Saih was found guilty by Judge Dr. Lim Hock Leng of murdering Fazrin Ibrahim, 30, between 1.20pm and 1.40pm on April 24, 2018 at a junction to Taman Warisan 4, in Lahad Datu. Dr Lim in delivering his decision held that the prosecution had proven its case against Robin beyond reasonable doubt.
