Danielle Haim has recalled how she texted Bono to ask him to guest on Haim‘s 2019 single ‘Summer Girl’.
Song Exploder, which features Haim’s lead vocalist/guitarist, Haim bassist/vocalist Este Haim, regular Haim producer Ariel Rechtshaid and ‘Summer Girl”s co-producer and co-writer Rostam.
Danielle and Rostam recalled in the episode how they approached Bono with the offer to sing on ‘Summer Girl’, with the former reaching out to the U2 frontman via text message with the invitation to collaborate vocals on the song’s closing line “
and I can see the angels coming down / Like a wave that’s crashing on the ground”. ....

Caroline Polachek has shared a new cover version of The Corrs‘ 2000 single ‘Breathless. You can take a listen below.
Produced by PC Music’s Danny L Harle, the elegant rendition will feature as a bonus track on Polachek’s forthcoming vinyl release ‘Standing At The Gate: Remix Collection’.
Released digitally and on grey marble vinyl, the album is out next spring, and features reworkings of a number of tracks from Polachek’s acclaimed 2019 LP ‘Pang’.

She also shared ‘Pang‘ remixes by George Clanton, Oklou and Umru as part of the release. A remix of ‘So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings’ by A.G. Cook arrived last year. ....
