Close as this group can get. in the area of seventh avenue and 49th, 50th, , and that area, there is loads of construction. you can see the orange and white barricades, that is closing off an entire lane as they are correcting enormous buildings all through this area. there is a 40 story hotel at 48th street, another enormous construction project at 49th street and another at 51st. all of this area is snarled all of the time with extreme construction. the street level traffic is abysmal, like nothing nor i m like most new yorkers can remember. getting to anywhere on a good day is very difficult, but on a rainy mid 60s day with some wind and a lot of history construction on a monday after a weekend getting around is very ....
