A full gamut of events is lining up to enhance experiences for visitors and locals alike. Leading the way in terms of size and scope, and the celebration of the festival’s 25th anniversary is the Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluesapalooza, Mammoth Lakes’ largest ticketed summer event. Bourbon & Blues Fest Returns to Swisher Next Month Swisher will be filled with great music and delicious beverages this 4th of July weekend! The Bourbon & Blues Fest is set to take place at two different venues from Friday, July 2nd through Monday, July 5th. The festival is a very popular event, usually bringing around 8,000 people to the town of Swisher. According to the website: Bourbon and Blues began in 2010 to celebrate Cedar Ridge’s first release of bourbon in Iowa. The event features the brand’s locally produced spirits and local, regional, and national blues musicians highlighting a range of talented artists. ....
Austin 360 UPDATE, Feb. 1: This story was updated after organizers announced that the Texas Winter Nights series has been moved from Barton Creek Square to Carson Creek Ranch, 701 Dalton Lane in southeast Austin. Following drive-in music events that arose last year during the pandemic in locations such as Bee Cave s Hill Country Galleria and Cedar Park s Haute Spot, a new series dubbed Texas Winter Nights is set for the first two weeks of February at Carson Creek Ranch. Performers include Reverend Horton Heat, Vallejo and Band of Heathens. Tickets, priced per vehicle, start at $110 for up to four people and can be purchased at texaswinternights.com. They include a parking spot plus space for fans to enjoy the music outside of their vehicles while social distancing, per a news release announcing the shows.
